With its versatile seat bag and backpack, the Mountain Walker is your perfect companion for:

The seat bag snaps onto the seat, and is easily folded forward when you want to sit down for a break. It has 3 separate inner compartments, with plenty of room for your camera, maps, your valuables and a water bottle or thermos. The seat bag can also be carried as a
shoulder bag, and it has a padded detachable strap. One zippered outer compartment and two mesh pockets swallow your smaller items. A top elastic cord holds all the extras. The backpack fits nicely into the basket, and with a full-length zip you have easy access to the main compartment. The shoulder straps can be hidden in a stove-away pocket. Your MP3-player fits into the small top zippered pocket, and there is a sleeve for your head phones. In addition there is a zippered outer compartment and two mesh side pockets that fit two water bottles. Both seat bag and backpack are made from sturdy 600D polyester, with reflective lining for safety when walking in traffic at
night.

Independent study
PhD. Linda Rose et al. at the Swedish ergonomics firm ERAK has performed a scientific independent study, comparing Trionic Walker with the two leading outdoor rollators in Sweden. Several interesting results were obtained, e.g. measuring the force needed to pass different obstacles.
The force needed to pass a 3,2 cm high curbstone with a traditional outdoor rollator was measured to be 6–12 times greater in comparison with Trionic Walker. A traditional rollator is unable to overcome higher obstacles, such as a 7 cm curb, and has to be lifted, while Trionic’s Walker ™ was found to climb the obstacle.
User test
The ergonomics firm ERAK has also performed a user test with ten participants. The test persons, all of them rollator users, tested Trionic Walker for a period of 3–5 summer weeks. The trial period was followed by interviews and EMG tests.

In all of the outdoor environments tested, Trionic Walker ™ got higher ratings than the test subjects’ traditional rollator. Apart from this, several other functions were appreciated by the users, such as the design, the brake system and the zippered basket compartment. One of the comments by the participants was:
– “The design leaves a powerful impression, it shows respect”
The main conclusion of the study is that Walker shows advantages in several aspects, when compared to a traditional rollator, especially when used in the outdoors and when overcoming obstacles.
7 out of 9 test persons would rather use Trionic Walker than their current rollator.
