The Gel-T is a gel and foam cushion with an exclusive, gel-filled bladder
The gel filled bladder prevents gel from moving away from bony prominences, where the user will need the most protection. Surrounded by two soft foam layers, the gel maximizes immersion, allowing it to provide reduce pressure and provide pain relief for users at moderate risk of pressure ulcers.
A vinyl cover that can be wiped-clean keeps out moisture and reduces shearing and friction. For use in the home or a facility, the Gel-T is available in several standard sizes, including 19x19 to fit geriatric chairs. Its cover can also accomodate the optional Sling-Fill Base, and the cushion's total height is 2.5".
The Gel-T is recognized for reimbursement under Medicare codes:
E2601 for cushions less than 22" wide, or
E2602 for cushions more than 22" wide.
